Tengry Lab was formed in 2010 with the idea of experimenting with siberian folk music in context of modern sound production culture. It took its time before concept matured and the style of Tengry Lab converged to the mix of rock, electronic and world music. Tengry Lab now is alteration of groovy and deep psychedelic sounds grown on surrealistic vision of traditional siberian culture. Deeply effected guitar, throat singing, elegiac tunes and beatbox grooves – that’s what should submerge listener in mood of meditation and subtle northern melancholia.
